FOOD & TRAVEL
Christmas time is the best time of the year as far as I’m concerned. Along with it comes tons of reasons and ways to celebrate. I love entertaining so this time of year is extra special.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
Every loves a classic Christmas Sweater Party. And now more than ever you can find Ugly Christmas Sweaters online at Tipsy Elves or even at your local Target. I’ve even heard of some parties where you bring a plain sweater and decorate it at the party with garland and christmas balls and other decor items. What fun!
Christmas Cocktail Competition
There are some seriously yummy holiday-themed cocktails out there. From Rumchata Egg Nog to White Christmas Margarita Punch, it’s so fun to get creative and learn some new fun recipes with all your best buddies. Making it a competition means that everyone gets to taste everything and vote which makes it an extra layer of fun! Cheers!
PJ Christmas Movie Night
Love Actually. Elf. A Christmas Story. The Holiday. Arthur Christmas. And obviously Home Alone. The list goes on! Grab your favorite set of pj’s or better yet christmas-themed pjs and a blanket and popcorn and binge-watch either the Hallmark channel’s offerings of holiday movies or check out Netflix’s The Grinch or Christmas Chronicles and there’s always Prime too! There are so many festive movies out there perfect for a cozy winter night. Happy Move Marathon-ing, friends!
Wreath Making Party
If you know me, you know I LOVE a good craft. Combine that with the holidays and you have the perfect combo. You can get a tone of wreath making materials from Michaels or Hobby Lobby.
Holiday Wine Charm Craft Party
I love crafting and I love wine so you know what that means. I had to find someway to combine my two loves. And what a fun way to gather your friends around who share you love for all kinds white, red (or pink!) (or perhaps just one) You can pick up a variety of beads and go to town. From sparkly to festive you could also use different bigger charms or theme them so they’re specific for the holiday or make ones to use year round. Have fun with it! Afterall, it’s your party, you make the rules! Have fun!
Christmas Cookie Decorating Party or Exchange
What is better than getting cookies? Perhaps a party where you sample a ton of different cookies and get to pick your favorite. What if you combine a cookie exchange with a white elephant style steal element? What a fun time that would be.
Gingerbread House Making Party
A holiday classic. You can buy the kits available pretty much everywhere or you can go old school and use graham crackers or you can really take it back and bake your own and decorate. My favorite are seeing the details on the house and yard. People come up with the most fun ideas. Creativity at it’s best.
