In business for over 70 years, Vruyr "Ed" Bedrosian started something special. How did Bedrosians become “one of the largest independent porcelain tile and stone importers and distributors in the United States?” It all started in 1948 in Central California and now, there are 41 locations across the United States. Their continued success could have something to do with their approach to business: “Our vision is to be the most customer-centric tile company in the United States.”
When you find a company that offers high-quality products, puts an emphasis on exemplary customer service, values social responsibility, you know it's a quality company.
On Bedrosians site in the How It’s Made section you'll find their porcelain tiles go through an extensive process baking multiple times to remove water that is added during the formation process. Right before they're completed, the glaze of each tile is set using a 2,500 °F baking process. And let me tell you this tile, is gorgeous.
Bedrosians has a variety of tile options:
Through Body Tile - no surface glaze or finish, same material throughout, best for high traffic areas
Color Body Tile - finish painted, then glazed and color-matched to make wear less noticeable
Double Loaded Tile - double layered with extreme pressure and heat creating one super durable tile
White Body Tile - Beautiful tile protected by thin glaze. Please note, white body tile is not as durable as through body tile.
Red Body Tile - similar processing to white body tile, though more affordable. The red base may show through if worn down and applied in high traffic areas
If you're looking for tile for your next project, I would highly recommend Bedrosians.
